Frequently asked questions

Are these sculptures body safe?

tl:dr - no

If you're still reading this then let's have a little chat. We all know they make silicone toys, but there are also metal and glass toys. There have also been, for a long time, ceramic toys.

If the ceramic is coated in fully formed glass (aka glaze fired) then it is considered safe to eat and drink out of, amongst other things.

The glazes I use do not contain harmful chemicals. No metals leach.

These toys will not break from your bits squeezing. They are thick enough to be handled.

However, some of these are simply pieces of art that would not be considered body safe to use. I will state in each piece's description if it is body safe and to what degree.

So read thoroughly and do some research before you decide what you do with these things.

How do I clean these sculptures?

Using harsh, abrasive, and alcohol-based cleaners on ceramic toys can damage or scratch them and weaken the glaze. For that reason, you should stick with gentle soap and warm water or the best cleaners for sex toys, which come in spray and foam versions.

If the toy is properly glazed and hence non-porous, you can wipe it with a diluted vinegar solution (1 part vinegar and 3 parts water). This is one of the best all-natural sex toy disinfectants.

Don’t boil these toys, as extreme temperature changes can cause them to crack. Remember to let it air dry completely and handle it carefully while cleaning.

Fully drying pleasure products before you store them can prevent bacterial growth, mold, and mildew. It’s best to store toys individually in soft pouches or dedicated cases to prevent scratching or damage.

What is the return policy?

Are any purchases final sale?

Due to the nature of these pieces or art, all sales are final.

When will I get my order?

Orders will be shipped within 10 business days of purchase confirmation. Once shipped should arrive within 7-10 days. You will receive a tracking number once shipped.

How do you make your art?

These art pieces are hand-made by myself, clay thrown on the pottery wheel and then altered. Fired to vitrification and generally with a coat of glossy glaze applied.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping ceramics generally costs more than average shipping, due to the size and weight of the products.

I ship at a flat $25 for any product.
